For years, recycling in Hong Kong has been a murky business. After testing various forms of domestic waste separation options for flexibility, convenience and cost-effectiveness, the EPD finally launched a new community recycling network this year, dubbed GREEN @ COMMUNITY complete with a new look, a new logo and a resident loyalty programme.

By taking the role as interior designer,  22 numbers of community recycling stores have been created in town. With the minimal and refined design, the entire recycling experience can be at ease. 

Fibreglass material with identifiable colors are adopted for the 8 types of the recycling cabinets, together with the consistent design of reception, sorting table and other facilities. The stores can serve as a door-step recycling hub for everyday use.
