Eden is an anti-trafficking NGO operating in Myanmar that aims to bring hope, freedom, support, and opportunities to victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Each piece is inspired by a true story of courageous escape and lovingly handcrafted by a trafficking survivor. In addition to jewelry-making, the women participate in counseling, creative therapies, education, and vocational training classes, allowing them to focus on healing and personal growth without the pressure of earning income. Eden's holistic model not only focuses on rescuing individuals but also aims to break the entire trafficking cycle. With almost 20 years of frontline operation, Eden has successfully rescued over 1,800 victims across Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on Myanmar, where international support is limited, corruption and human rights violations are prevalent, and the aftermath of COVID-19 and the military coup has increased the number of women and girls exploited for sex by more than 300%.
