In the past, people stepped into a pawnshop when facing unexpected hardships, pawning cherished possessions for a moment of relief. The rules were simple: when the time came, you could "redeem" if able, or "renew" if not yet ready.
Facing the loss of a loved one or deep regret is much the same—you don't have to rush to "get better." When you are ready, you "redeem" inner peace; if the grief remains, you can guilt-free "renew" your ticket to stay on pause.
You are invited to bring an object that evokes memories of someone you miss (either the physical item or a photo) to Project House @Chun On Pawn. Through reflecting on and sharing the story behind your item, let Life As Usual issue a personalised pawn ticket for your heart—giving yourself 125 days of pure respite. Take small steps at your own pace to rebuild your routine until you are ready to redeem inner peace and live as usual.
