「壹當」坐落於灣仔道91號「振安大押」舊址，將百年當舖轉化為一個與人相遇的社區共享空間。昔日的當舖是民生樞紐，為街坊解燃眉之急，同時讓大家暫存生活用品，騰出家中位置。「壹當」將延續當舖「交換」與「寄存」的精神，讓這個歷史地標再次成為街角的一檔日常。
在這個昔日予人距離感的當舖裡，我們不再交換物件，而是以自己的時間與故事，換取可以放慢節奏的片刻。在繁忙的灣仔街道之中，「壹當」期望透過歷史展覽、恆常節目與社群聚會，成為讓人稍作停留、重新整理自己的喘息空間。
Project House @Chun On Pawn is located at the former site of the historic Chun On Pawn Shop (91 Wan Chai Road). Once a vital part of everyday life, pawn shops offered neighbours quick financial relief while providing a place to temporarily store belongings and ease the constraints of limited living space. Today, this century-old landmark will be reimagined as a shared community space, passing on the spirit of “exchange” and “safekeeping.”
This former site of distant transactions is now a place of connection—where we no longer exchange objects, but share time, stories, and moments of pause. Amid the fast pace of Wan Chai, Project House @Chun On Pawn invites visitors to slow down. Through exhibitions, regular programmes, and community gatherings, it offers a familiar corner in the city to rest, reflect, and reconnect.

About Project House @Chun On Pawn
onebite Social 一口舍群於2017年8月發起「壹屋計劃」，將閒置店鋪轉化為可被不同團體使用的臨時空間，透過生活化主題及簡單設計，回應各類社區活動的需要。計劃先後於深水埗、灣仔及香港仔等地進行，為不同社區帶來短期而多元的生活體驗與服務。疫情過後，「壹屋計劃」於2023年以「壹合」形式回歸上環，進一步探索空間與社區之間的關係，並發展出新的連結方式。
2026年8月，我們重返灣仔，將過往累積的經驗帶到「壹當」。以典當文化為靈感，這個當舖空間不再是金錢交易場所，而是透過各種形式的「交換」⸺故事的交換、情感的交換、經驗的交換⸺重新打開當舖，連結街坊，讓人與人之間在交流中建立關係，於社區凝聚與成長。
Project House was initiated in August 2017 by onebite Social, using a pop-up strategy to tackle the phenomenon of ground-level vacant shops and the social demand for community spaces, transforming the temporary space via simple design elements and curated themes to meet community needs. Pop-ups were held in Sham Shui Po, Wan Chai and Aberdeen. After a pause during the pandemic, we made a comeback at 1 Queen’s Road West in Sheung Wan in the summer of 2023, further exploring the relationship between space and community while developing new ways of connection.
In August 2026, we are returning to Wan Chai, bringing our accumulated experience to Project House @Chun On Pawn. Inspired by pawnbroking culture, this space is no longer a site of financial transactions, but transformed into exchanges in many forms—stories, emotions, and experiences. By reopening the pawn shop, we shall reconnect with the neighbourhood, fostering relationships, allowing the community to interact, come together and grow.

About Project House @1QRW
「壹合」社區共享空間，位於皇后大道西壹號「有記合」唐樓地舖，以結合歷史、社區、文化的創意活動連結上環街坊，為街坊提供喘息的空間。我們期望以空間配對社區資源，營造上環社區的互助網絡，強化地區韌性。
「壹合」希望成為上環街坊們的聚腳地，提供一個相聚相連的平台。我們將舉辦一系列固定服務和主題活動，為大家提供多樣化的活動體驗，營造相互交流的機會。
「壹合」自2023年7月底開始營運，經歷了1.0及2.0階段，認識上環社區及街坊，探索了疫情後社區的需要，並摸索出連結空間及社區的新模式，於2024年8月以新面貌繼營運。
Project House @1QRW serves as a community shared space located at the shop space at 1 Queen’s Road West in Sheung Wan, the former “Yau Kee Hop”. We hope to connect the community of Sheung Wan and provide a comfortable breathing space by weaving heritage, community and culture through creative happenings. By leveraging this iconic shop space and bridging local community resources, we intend to foster and strengthen the Sheung Wan community network and resilience.
Project House @1QRW aspires to be a gathering space for Sheung Wan kaifongs, a place to meet and connect with one another via both regular services and thematic activities.
Project House @1QRW started in July 2023, and has since gone through stages 1.0 and 2.0, which allowed us to get to know the Sheung Wan community and understand their needs post-pandemic. As we explore a new model to connect space with the community, it will be relaunched in August 2024 with renewed programmes and happenings.

振安典當體驗 Chun On Pawn Experience
以百年當舖振安大押為背景，帶大家了解當舖運作與背後的人情故事。藉着展覽、導賞及互動，讓街坊在空間中重新認識昔日的典當日常，同時感受當舖文化與人之間的連結。
Set within the historic, century-old Chun On Pawn Shop, this programme series introduces the operations and personal stories of the pawn industry. Through exhibitions, guided tours, and interactions, rediscover past pawnbroking practices and experience the enduring bond between pawn shop culture and the community.
壹當驛站 Pawn & Stop
將當舖打開成為街坊可以歇一歇的共享空間，透過不同休閒活動，讓這個繁忙的穿梭點，變成一個可以交換故事、相聚的社區角落。
Reimagining the pawn shop as a shared resting space, opening up the site for neighbours to pause and take a break. Through a range of casual activities, a place once defined by brief transactions becomes a welcoming corner for story exchange and gathering.
現代版當舖 The Contemporary Pawn Shop
以傳統典當概念為靈感，帶來全新的當舖體驗。參加者可以用自己的經歷作為「當物」，換取一段與他人交流及自我承諾的過程，並在過程之中回望，讓當舖成為承載故事與轉變的地方。
Inspired by the traditional concept of pawnbroking, this programme offers a reinterpreted experience. Participants are invited to “pawn” their own lived experiences as tokens of commitment, exchanging them for moments of dialogue and self-reflection, turning the pawn shop into a space that holds stories and personal transformation.
壹當Happy Hour
壹當於週末晚上會帶來不同種類的輕鬆節目。無論是電影、音樂或小型表演，都適合街坊前來放鬆一下、卸下一週的重擔。
Project House @Chun On Pawn brings you a variety of relaxed weekend evening programs. From movies and music to intimate live performances, it is the perfect spot for neighbours
to come and unwind.
故事開講 Storytelling Sessions
定期邀請不同講者分享振安大押、當舖文化及灣仔故事。用輕鬆方式認識歷史，拉近人與社區的距離。
Featuring guest speakers sharing insights on Chun On Pawn Shop, pawnbroking traditions, and Wan Chai's local heritage. Learn about history in a relaxing setting that bridges the gap between individuals and the community.
