本課程專為初學者而設， 用鉤針編織最基本的針法開始編織圓形花樣，令初學者們更能輕易掌握。今次會編織圓形杯墊， 從中再加以創作出與別不同的杯墊或者其他物品。課程主要教授鈎針與線的種類及拿法，鈎針基本針法 (輪狀起針、短針、加針、收針)，如何換線及閱讀編織圖及縫合等技巧。課程2.5小時，參與可獲贈鈎針、2個毛冷及圖解。

This course is designed for beginners, starting with the most basic crochet stitches to create circular patterns which are easy to grasp. In this session, we will crochet a circular coaster and create a unique design on top of it. You will learn the types of crochet hooks and yarn, as well as the way to hold the hook and basic crochet stitches (magic ring, single crochet, increase, cast off), how to change yarn, read crochet patterns, and sewing techniques. The class lasts for 2.5 hours and participants will receive a crochet hook, 2 balls of yarn, and crochet diagrams.

Esther 多年來醉心編織、鈎織和運動，擔任健身導師二十餘年後，現在將能量和熱情全心投入發展編織和勾織事業之上。她首次接觸針織塗鴉，是發起街頭編織藝術的美國德州藝術家 Magda Sayeg，2012年來港參與 I Knit MK 展覽，她當時獲邀參與，激發她對編織塗鴉的興趣，此後活躍創作，包括銅鑼灣和上環的欄杆編織。作品亦可見於太平山街、樓梯街和石板街一帶。
Knitting, crocheting and sports have been my passions for over years. Having worked as a fitness instructor for the past 20+ years. I am now strongly focussing my energy and enthusiasm on pursuing my career in my true passion, knitting / crochet, both. I was first yarn bombed when Texan Magda Sayeg, who started the street art phenomenon, came to Hong Kong at the I Knit MK exhibition in 2012. At the time, Sayeg invited me to take part in her “I Knit MK” exhibition, and yarn bombing sparked my interest. I had been busy with knit graffiti ever since, including yarn bombing railings in Causeway Bay and Sheung Wan. My work can be seen also in Tai Ping Shan, Ladder Street and Pottinger Street.
