Turtle Shell Painting Lab

Step into the world of turtle patterns—beginning with close observation, and exploring the structure and beauty of shell texture.

In this workshop, participants will observe turtles up close, studying their forms and the composition of their shell patterns. Through careful attention to the unique geometries that piece together on their backs, you’ll discover how these intricate markings come to life. The instructor will guide you in transforming what you see into creative inspiration, using dots and lines to compose and colour freely on paper—capturing the moment you meet your new turtle friend and carrying forward the warmth of that encounter.
