定期邀請不同背景的講者合作，包括昔日振安大押員工、本地歷史研究者、店主、街坊及文化工作者，從多個角度分享振安大押、當舖文化以及灣仔的歷史與變遷。活動於振安大押這個真實歷史空間中進行，讓參加者不只是「聽故事」，而是置身其中，一步步走進當舖與灣仔的過去，讓大家以更立體的方式重新認識這個地方，拉近人與歷史、以及彼此之間的距離。
We regularly collaborate with speakers from diverse backgrounds—including former employees of Chun On Pawn Shop, historical experts, shop owners, residents and cultural practitioners—to share about the history and evolution of Chun On Pawn Shop, pawnbroking culture, and Wan Chai from multiple angles. Held within the authentic, historic walls of Chun On Pawn Shop, these sessions go far beyond "listening to stories", fostering a deeper connection to the past while bringing the community closer together.

一切從灣仔這個「家」 開始 ，自少在傳統家中成長，到繼承今天事業；隨着頭髮牽引，由手抱蘇哈到人生歸途，本著我們華人核心價值「一脈相承 有始有終」 為原則，為這地劃上生生不息的香港故事。

Founded in 1969 on Lockhart Road in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Mahjong Company has been rooted in the local community for more than half a century. In 2015, our current premises underwent a complete renovation, unveiling two comfortable and exclusive floors designed in an elegant gold palette. The venue features 29 fully automatic and traditional manual mahjong tables, offering fast-paced mahjong games centred around pong and gong calls.
As a custodian of Hong Kong’s distinctive local culture, our venue launched the “Mahjong Parlour In-Depth Tour” in 2024. The tour is dedicated to promoting Hong Kong’s traditional mahjong culture and entertainment experience, helping ensure that this uniquely local tradition continues to thrive.

"A pandemic stripped everything back to basics..."
Established in 1962, 'Oi Kwun Barbershop' pivoted during the pandemic, taking on a complete fresh start to manage 'Cheung Fook Funeral Parlour'—an establishment with over half a century of history.
It all started in Wan Chai, the place he calls 'home'. Having grown up in a traditional household, he eventually inherited the family business. Guided by the thread of hair, from cradle to life’s final journey, he upholds the core Chinese value of ‘continuity from beginning to end’, crafting an enduring Hong Kong story for this land.
